Project Description:

Forward Air’s new home is a cross dock freight forwarding facility. The 5,200 square foot office area is located on the street corner intersection, maximizing view of its uniquely designed reveals and accent color patterns.

The warehouse layout maximized the number of overhead doors and minimized the number of interior columns. Also, included was 785 SF Shipping and Receiving office, located in the center of the warehouse, to control flow of freight in and out.

Forward Air Corporation is a leading provider of time-definite surface transportation and related logistics services to the North American air freight and expedited LTL market. They provided scheduled surface transportation of cargo as a cost effective, reliable alternative to air transportation. They transport air freight that must be delivered at a specific time, but is less time-sensitive than traditional integrated services.
